This readme file accompanies a paper submitted to the Journal of Global Economic Analysis entitiled "Incorporating Nutritional Accounts to the GTAP Data Base".
Two simulation archives are provided in the supplementary materials that accompany this paper and correspond to the simulations discussed in Section 4: RunGTAP simulation archive (“foodsubs.zip”) and a standalone nutritional outcomes assessment programs “fbsest.zip”. The latter one reads in the outcomes of the RunGTAP simulations and provides an assessment of the nutritional impacts.
To replicate the simulations, first, the RunGTAP archive “foodsubs.zip” should be loaded to RunGTAP and the corresponding model run should be implemented. After the successful model run, a solution file named "impftar.sl4" should be copied to the "in" subfolder of the "fbsest" folder ("fbsest" folder should be firts extracted from the corresponding archive). After this an "fbsest.bat" file should be run and the output would appear in the "out" subfolder.
